SSC CGL Notification 2024 :- The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the SSC CGL 2024 Notification, offering 17,727 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply online for the SSC CGL 2024 Examination via the official SSC website. The deadline for submitting the SSC CGL Application Form is July 24, 2024. The SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam is scheduled between September and October 2024, while the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam is set for December 2024. This notification aims to recruit eligible candidates for various Group B and Group C positions in government ministries, departments, and organizations. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and hold a graduation degree.
Important dates:-
- Dates for submission of online applications:- June 24, 2024, to July 24, 2024
- Last date and time for receipt of online applications – July 24, 2024 (23:00)
- Last date and time for making online fee payment:- July 25, 2024 (23:00)
- Dates of ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ including online payment: – August 10, 2024, to August 11, 2024 (23:00)
- Tentative Schedule of Tier-I (Computer Based Examination):- September-October, 2024
- Tentative Schedule of Tier-II (Computer Based Examination) :- December, 2024
Who Apply :-
A candidate must be one of the following:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries including Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age Limits :- As on 01-08-2024
(i) For posts with an age limit of 18-27 years: -Candidates must have been born between August 2, 1997, and August 1, 2006.
(ii) For posts with an age limit of 20-30 years: -Candidates must have been born between August 2, 1994, and August 1, 2004.
(iii) For posts with an age limit of 18-30 years:-Candidates must have been born between August 2, 1994, and August 1, 2006.
(iv) For posts with an age limit of 18-32 years:- Candidates must have been born between August 2, 1992, and August 1, 2006.
Educational Qualifications (As on 01-08-2024):
For Post Junior Statistical Officer:-
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at the 12th standard level;
Or
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.
For Post Statistical Investigator Grade-II:-
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. Candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all three years or all six semesters of their graduation course.
For Post Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):-
1- Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
2- Desirable Qualifications:
Minimum one-year research experience in any recognized university or recognized research institution or
Degree in Law or Human Rights from a recognized university.
For All other Posts : –
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
Notes:- The candidates who have appeared in their final year of graduation can also apply; however, they must possess the essential qualification on or before the cut-off date, i.e., August 1, 2024.

Fee payable: ₹100/- (Rs one hundred only) for all expect Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC),Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Exservicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay Debit cards.

To apply for the SSC CGL 2024, follow these steps:
1. Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
2. If you are a new user, register by entering the required details, including a valid email ID and phone number.
3. Log in to your account using the user ID and password sent to your registered email ID.
4. Complete the SSC CGL application form accurately.
5. Upload the necessary documents in the specified format and size:
– Photograph: JPEG format, between 20 KB and 50 KB.
– Signature: JPEG format, between 10 KB and 20 KB.
6. Pay the application fee according to your category.
7. Submit the form and download your SSC CGL 2024 online application.
